A man was seriously injured in a house fire in North Boise Wednesday afternoon. Boise Fire officials tell KTVB that the inside of the home on Hill Road near the intersection with North Tamarack Drive is a total loss. One man was inside the home and suffered second-degree burns to his arm. We are told that he refused medical treatment. When crews arrived on the scene, they found heavy flames coming from one side of the home. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames but not before the second floor was destroyed. Two people who lived in the home were displaced, and are now being assisted by the Boise Fire Burnout Fund. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
