A Boise man remains in jail after Garden City police say he doused himself and a residence in gasoline Saturday night and violated a no-contact order. Marcell Gurule, 46, was arrested on an attempted first-degree arson charge, a felony, and misdemeanor violation of a no-contact order. The charges stem from a report of a no-contact order violation Saturday night in the 500 block of East 44th Street, according to a statement from the Garden City Police Department. On the way, officers learned Gurule was reportedly drenching himself and a residence in gasoline, according to police. When police arrived, they found him hiding in the front yard of the building.
