A Garden City man is accused of arson after a pickup truck had been set on fire Monday night.
John Vearl Plumer, 55, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one felony count of arson.
Boise Fire and Garden City Police made the arrest following an investigation into a vehicle fire earlier this week. Crews found the bed of a pickup had been set on fire at about 9:30 p.m. This happened on the 4000 block of Chinden Boulevard.
"After a joint investigation, conducting witness interviews, and reviewing video from a local business, they were able to identify Plumer as a suspect," BFD said.
