The South Fremont Fire District was called to a small fire on 3000 East in the Chester area at around 1:25 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters kept it confined to a small area including a pasture and some trees. There was no structural damage and no one was injured. A Red Flag Warning has been issued through 8 p.m. Monday. As a result, Fremont County is banning all open burning, not including campfires in approved fire pits.
