The St. Maries Fire Protection District is asking for the public’s help in finding a truck and trailer driver believed responsible for damaging the O’Gara Fire Station near Kootenai High School. Officials estimate it happened between noon Sunday and 5 p.m. Monday. “It appears they tried to turn around in our lot and put the trailer into the building,” SMFD said in a Facebook post. “They did a lot of damage to the building but we were very lucky that the trucks were not damaged.” Anyone who has information on this incident is asked to contact the Fire District Office at 245-5253.
