Idaho State Police says a 23-year-old Wilder man was killed Tuesday evening after crashing into a tree in Caldwell. It happened near Centennial Way and Chicago Street just after 8:45 p.m. Investigators say Josh Gamble lost control of his GMC Jimmy after hitting a large puddle of water on the roadway. The vehicle hit a tree, and Gamble died from his injuries on scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt. The road was blocked for more than an hour as crews cleared the scene and investigated the crash.
