The Nez Perce Tribal Police are warning the public about ‘Mexican Oxy’ that surfaced in the region. It’s a small blue pill stamped with an “M” on one side and “30” on the other. Two people took half a pill each and overdosed Monday night. First responders administered Narcan and the two are now recovering. This drug is disguised as oxycodone. According to the Associated Press, it’s actually fentanyl and comes in doses that range from low to lethal. Nez Perce Police officers hope this message will have a far reach and people stay away from it.
