PHOTOS: Crews from the Boise Fire Department, the Bureau of Land Management Idaho Fire, and the Eagle Fire Department have contained a 5-acre grass fire near Pierce Park Ln. Specifically, the fire is in the area of the 7400th block of N. Pierce Park Ln. in Boise between Autumnwood and Cartwright. Boise Fire will keep one crew out until midday on Monday to make sure nothing flares up. Pierce Park to Cartwright Rd has been shutdown but will reopen later this morning. Fire officials say no structures are threatened at this time. Any hikers or bikers are asked to stay off the trails and avoid the area so fire crews can gain access to the roads as needed. Residents nearby have been notified through the Ada County Sheriff's Office Code Red System.
