The Madison Fire Department responded to a structure fire Saturday afternoon. When crews arrived at 5100 South and 2750 West south of Rexburg, they found the manufactured home with smoke coming out of the eves on all sides of the home. Everyone in the house was able to get out as firefighters fought the flames. The homeowner was having electrical problems with several outlets and a light fixture which is what is thought to have caused the fire. Damages are estimated to be around $250,000. No firefighters were injured and cleared the scene around 6:00 p.m.
