A woman was rushed to the hospital with a head injury Monday when she fell while trying to scale the Eliot Tower in the Blue Hills Reservation, The Patriot Ledger reported. The accident took place about 2 p.m. Monday, said Canton Fire Chief Charles Doody. He said the woman was about 25 feet up the stone tower when she fell. Doody said the woman was conscious when firefighters arrived at the scene. She was transported to Boston Medical Center, where Doody said her condition was considered stable. The woman’s name and age were not available Monday afternoon.
