Falmouth Police report that on Tuesday at 10:11 AM, first responders were dispatched to Thomas B. Landers Road and Research Road for a crash involving a cement truck and a pickup truck. The operator of the pickup truck was entrapped and had to be extricated. He was treated and then transported to the Falmouth Hospital by Falmouth Fire/Rescue medics for injuries that were not life-threatening. An investigation revealed that the operator of the pickup truck failed to yield and was struck by the cement truck. The pickup operator, a 58-year-old man from Plymouth, was cited for failing to yield the right of way. The road was closed for about an hour. Both vehicles were towed.
