VIDEOS: It was a well coordinated command and a lot of hustle that helped stop a garage fire from spreading further into the home this evening.
At about 8:00 P.M., Mashpee Fire Department crews responded to 25 Redwood Circle for a fire which appears to have started in the garage.
The first firefighters on scene were relieved to learn that everyone was already out of the house, which allowed them to focus all their efforts toward battling the flames.
As you will see in the following HN Video, there was still fire showing on the outside of the garage, a good 15 to 20 minutes after the structure fire was initially dispatched.
Mutual aid came from nearby towns to assist…
All units cleared the scene at about 10:04 P.M., as it turned out to be a great save!
