Firefighters are training at a vacant Bishop Street house. “Our crews are training at a vacant house, and slated for demolition this week,” said Assistant Fire Chief John Schultz. House is on corner of Bishop and Howe Street. “Last minute offer from builder that was nice enough to let us cut holes in roof,” said the Assistant Fire Chief. “Great job by Group 2 working on Ventilation Techniques as well as Vent/Enter/Isolate/Search Techniques (VEIS)—best way to mentor the future,”said the fire department.
