Fire and Police Divers Search Frigid Charles River for Hours

PHOTOS: Divers and marine units from the Massachusetts State Police, Boston Police, Cambridge Fire and Boston Fire spent countless hours Sunday night into Monday morning searching the Charles River for a man that reportedly had jumped into the frigid waters early this morning from a bridge connecting Boston and Cambridge. Lieutenant Paul Sullivan of Massachusetts State Police, confirmed in a statement that at 03:15 hours Troopers received a report that a white male approximately 30-years-old either jumping or fell off the Larz Anderson Bridge into the Charles River. According to the Cambridge Fire Department, the temperature was 22 degrees when they began the search. Lt. Sullivan stated that their patrols, marine unit and dive team responded. Cambridge Fire dive team and Cambridge PD also responded. As of now no person has been located.
