Two people were displaced after a lawn mower fire damaged a home in Randolph on Wednesday.
Officials said rescue crews responded to a fire at a two-and-a-half story house on Main Street at 11:30 a.m.
The fire originated in a lawn mower and spread to the deck and rear of the home.
Two residents were home at the time of the fire, one of whom attempted to extinguish the blaze but was unsuccessful, officials said.
Both residents were able to escape unharmed, and crews put the fire out by 1:05 p.m.
Authorities said the lawn mower was destroyed and the deck and rear of the house sustained damage from the fire.
The home was left uninhabitable due to the damage, according to officials, who added that the two residents are in contact with friends and family.
