One person escaped from a burning home with their dog in Millville Tuesday night. According to Chief Roy Liard with the Millville Fire Department, at around 8 p.m., neighbors of a home on Providence Street called 911 reporting a structure fire. Chief Liard said when crews arrived on the scene, the house was “well involved.” The chief said that the resident inside the home was able to make it out with their dog unharmed. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
