The Thomas Township board of trustees acknowledged the resignation of some members of the fire department and assistant parks director, and approved an appointment of a fire prevention officer and probationary firefighters during the consent agenda of the regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 5.
The board received and acknowledged the resignation of assistant parks director Stacy Hable, and Thomas Stoddard and Molly McGrandy from the fire department during the meeting.
It also approved the appointment of Brandon Felton as part-time fire prevention officer, and the hiring of Corey Siler and Brian Foley as probationary firefighters.
Hable served in her role for one year before serving as part-time secretary for the parks department. Stoddard served the department for 16 years, and McGrandy served the township since July of last year.
