Kalamazoo Public Safety officers say nobody was injured after a fire broke out at a packaging business in the Edison Neighborhood. Crews were called to the Arvco Container Company on Gibson Street around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday after employees saw smoke and evacuated the building. Firefighters extinguished the blaze that started in a hopper paper waste machine located inside of one of the warehouses. Flames could be seen from the roof area of the building and inside the hopper. The fire was extinguished within 20-minutes.
