Two people and a sheriff's deputy had to be treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire Wednesday night. It took multiple departments to put out the fire which started around 9 p.m. in the 2700 block of Winans Street in Tallmadge Township. We're told the homeowners escaped but one of them went back inside to rescue their dogs. A sheriff's deputy was able to get him out of the home safely. The home is considered a total loss but no word on what started it.
