A fully loaded propane delivery truck did not leak any of its load Friday morning after it was involved in a Bethel Township traffic accident. Bronson Fire Chief Scott Wilber said the truck, which had a capacity of 3,000 gallons, struck a deer on Parham Road just south of Cranson Road at about 6:40 a.m., which caused a tire to drop off the side of the road. He said the soft soil on the shoulder from all the rain pulled the truck into the ditch. Bronson firefighters found the truck on its side when they arrived but there was no propane leak. The truck was on its way to Great Lakes Gladiola Farm when the accident took place. Bronson fire crews stood by at the scene for just over two hours in case there was a leak. The Michigan State Police and Bill's Towing of Angola also responded to the scene.
