Body found in burning Detroit home, police investigating as arson

A body was found Thursday burned beyond recognition in a home on East Outer Drive. Detroit fire said the body of a 61-year-old man was found in a second-story dwelling on fire in the 12000 block of East Outer Drive near Waveney. The body was found around 4:35 p.m. Officials are investigating the fire as possible arson.
