Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to West KL Avenue near Drake Road for the report of a structure fire at approximately 3:40 a.m. Tuesday.
Upon arrival, officers observed flames coming from the front of the building.
An interior fire team gained entry after knocking down the fire from the exterior.
Remaining hotspots were extinguished inside, and the fire was brought under control within 10 minutes, authorities said.
No injuries were reported to citizens or firefighters, according to officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
