VIDEO/PHOTOS: A fire broke out at the abandoned Flint Northern High School building on Sunday morning, April 14. The Flint Fire battalion chief said firefighters arrived on scene at the old Flint Northern High School building at about 9 a.m. on Sunday to respond to the fire. At about 10:50 a.m., the battalion chief said the fire in some rooms of the building had been knocked down, but firefighters needed to wait on other parts of the fire due to compromised structure of the building. The battalion chief said the building has been abandoned for years. There was a fire at the same building in October of last year.
