VIDEO: Police are investigating a home that partially exploded in Wyandotte. The noise was so loud that it left neighbors wondering what happened. Police said the inside of the home suffered significant damage from the blast. One person was seriously injured. The explosion happened at a home on Cora Street Sunday night. “Most of the damage is done to the interior of the home. If you drove by it, it would like a couple of windows in the back would be the only thing you’d be able to tell, but most of the damaged occurred inside,” said Wyandotte Fire Chief Jeremy Moline. Police said it was the result of someone trying to create homemade fireworks, but Moline said he could not confirm or deny that allegation, just that his team is investigating.
