Two people injured, two dogs dead in Meagher County fire

Two people were severely injured and two dogs died in a cabin fire in Meagher County reported on Thursday at 7 p.m. According to Meagher County Fire and Emergency Services, two people were transported to a local hospital after the fire that was reported 23 miles north of White Sulphur Springs in the Ranch Creek Subdivision. Both people were severely injured and one was flown to a hospital in Great Falls, the department reports. An updated condition on the victims was not available Saturday. Two dogs died in the fire, despite best efforts of firefighters from Meagher County & White Sulphur Springs Fire. The fire was contained to the structure and did not spread to nearby homes.
