PHOTO: A dozen Malta Volunteer Firefighters arrived on the scene of a basement fire last Wednesday on South 6th Street East shortly after 5 p.m. No one was living in the home and no one was injured during the fire. The Malta Volunteer Fire Department was joined by the Phillips County Sheriff's Department and the Phillips County Ambulance Service at the scene.
