Firefighters put out a fire that started in the attic of this home in the 1100 block of Beef Trail Road just about 1 o'clock this afternoon. The occupants were home at the time but were able to escape unharmed. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but it appears to be accidental. No injuries were reported.
