The Olney Fire Volunteer and Rescue made a Facebook post stating they’re the target of vandalism. The department is warning vandals to stop. According to the post, they believe someone is spinning out the gravel in front of the building. They report one of their doors is bent, and trash was left behind. A sign that reads “keep off” is now posted on the property. The department says this is the second time this has happened. We spoke to a resident who says vandalism is unusual for the town. “Highly disappointing, you know. This is a small community, and vandalism shouldn’t be anywhere, but especially in these small communities, you know, spread coming out this way from Kalispell, or out of state even, that’s what it is. I don’t know, but we value our community and our privacy and our property,” Olney resident Mike Hubbard said.
