The Belt Rural Fire District (BRFD) selected a new fire chief on Friday. In a social media post, BRFD announced Jeremy Durbin as the new fire chief. "Along with our congratulations, we would like to thank him for his hard work and dedication as the Acting Fire Chief. We look forward to his leadership in sustaining our proud heritage as we move into an even greater future," BRFD said in the post.
