Busy weekend for Madison Co. as fire crews battled two separate fires.
Over near Jack Creek Bench Road in Ennis, the "Shed Horn" fire started at 2:12 p.m. after an unknown cause.
The fire spread to burn approximately 65-70 acres according to officials.
Fire crews from the state DNRC, Forest Service, Madison Valley, Virginia City and Harrison Fire all stepped in to fully contain the fire.
The following roads are now open to traffic: Jeffers Loop, Jack Creek Bench Road and Jack Creek. The "Cherry Creek" fire started around 4:19 p.m. off of Sullivan Road, where reports show 22 acres scorched.
Crews on that fire consist of Whitehall, Twin Bridges Fire, and the state DNRC as well as air support from DNRC.
Officials confirmed the fire is fully contained and in the mop up phase.
