On April 14, Custer County Fire and Miles City Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Water Plant Road. The fire was first reported by an on-duty police officer who saw it while patrolling. The structure had been vacant for several years according to Custer County Fire. There were no injuries and they have found the fire to be human caused. Due to the cause, they are asking for the public's help. People who saw anything suspicious between 5:00-6:00am in the area of Dike Road are asked to call the Custer County Sheriff's Office.
