An apartment building caught on fire in the 600 block of South Idaho Street in Butte Monday. The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department said on social media smoke was coming out of the ground floor unit. Firefighters were able to control the fire in a short amount of time. There was only one person in the entire building. Crews did overhaul and secondary searches. There was minimal fire damage, but there was smoke damage to the building. No injuries were reported.
