The Missoula Fire Department was responding to a grass fire on the east side of Mount Sentinel near Crazy Canyon Run. The Department of Natural Resources report no control issues on the fire with no threats to property. The fire burned 40 by 100 feet. Burning on open hillside with pine needles. The cause of the fire is under investigation. East Missoula Fire, Missoula Rural Fire District, Missoula Fire Department, U.S. Forest Service and the DNRC were on scene.
