The Buncombe County Firefighter's Association says that former Buncombe County Deputy Fire Marshal Terry Gentry died Sunday morning after an illness. Gentry retired only a few months ago. The association posted that he leaves a legacy of years of dedicated service, and many wonderful memories. No arrangements have been yet announced by his family.
