Days after a 19 year-old man was charged in setting fires to vacant homes and vehicles around Mooresville, authorities have charged him with another crime: setting a fire in a building at a local construction company late last month and causing nearly $900,000 in damages. Cam Lee Rowland, 19, of Fairpoint Drive Southeast in Concord was arrested earlier this week, along with two Mooresville juveniles, after authorities said the three admitted to setting two vacant Mooresville homes on fire before dawn Saturday. The suspects were apprehended after they were spotted by a witness and later returned to the scene of one of the fires, according to fire investigators. Wednesday, authorities also charged Rowland with the Jan. 26 fire at Hunter Construction, located at 118 Timer Road in Mooresville.
