Eugene “Smiley” Boyer, 73, Tabor City Fire member 1136, died Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at his home. Born March 7, 1947 in Stark County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Henry and Flossie Boyer.
Smiley was a Tabor City Firefighter with more than 40 years on the department.
Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, May 15 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held at noon Friday, May 15 in the Twin City Memorial Garden, Loris, S.C.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Kay Boyer of the home; a great-nephew: Daxton Fowler of Loris, S.C.; one brother; and two sisters.
