Fire intentionally set at northeast Charlotte duplex, officials say; one person injured

A fire was intentionally set at a duplex in northeast Charlotte, firefighters said Monday. The fire was set at a duplex on W. Craighead Road off of Highway 29. One person was hospitalized with an arm laceration. Three people were displaced. Damages are estimated to be around $71,000, according to fire investigators.
