PHOTOS: A Fayetteville home sustained $200,000 in damage when a fire swept through the house Sunday afternoon, officials said.
The blaze was reported just before 2:45 p.m. at 3481 Thorndike Drive in north Fayetteville off Rosehill Road north of Country Club Drive.
“The first arriving unit reported heavy fire, heavy smoke showing,” according to a news release from the Fayetteville Fire Department.
As of 3:20 p.m., crews were still working to bring the fire under control. No injuries were reported in the blaze.
Officials said they were unsure if the Red Cross would be needed to help those displaced from the home.
