VIDEO: Two firefighters were hurt responding to a fire along the North Carolina side of Lake Wylie early Friday morning. The blaze was reported on Buckie Court in the Steele Creek area, not far from the McDowell Nature Preserve. Medic confirmed the two firefighters were hurt and said one was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other was treated at the scene but did not go to the hospital. Multiple Charlotte Fire Department crews were called to the scene, including a fire boat. Video from the scene showed large flames shooting into the air. Officials have not yet said what caused the blaze.
