Several fire officials rescue trapped man in Forsyth County

PHOTO: A man is rescued after he was trapped in a trench, according to officials with the Walkertown Fire Department. Officials said they were called to Rangecrest Road around 2 p.m. on Sunday. Crews said a man was performing work on a water utility line in a muddy trench, when he became entrapped by the mud. Walkertown Fire crews said he was not injured, and it took them approximately an hour and a half to get him out of the trench. Officials with the Walkertown Fire Department, Winston-Salem Fire Department, Forsyth County Fire Department, Belews Creek Fire Department, and Forsyth County Rescue all responded to the incident.
