Firefighters with the Whiteville Fire Department were called to Columbus Regional Healthcare System Wednesday, May 29, after some workers became stranded on the side of the building. According to the WFD, workers were replacing a window when the suspended platform’s motor malfunctioned. Video at the top of this story shows fire crews working to remove the workers from the side of the hospital.
