Hall County Emergency Manager wins statewide award

Hall County’s Emergency Manager, Jon Rosenlund, was honored by the Nebraska Association of Emergency Management as a “Partner of the Year” award winner. It happened during the association’s conference in April, and Rosenlund said county officials nominated him for the award. “Every year the State Emergency Management Association has a nomination process and the county board was gracious enough to nominate me for this award and I was very, very grateful and surprised to receive it,” Rosenlund said. Rosenlund said the credit for this award goes to several agencies in Hall County. “I think there’s just been a lot of great work happening in Hall County, with a number of incidents that we’ve had in the past year, a few years, have really required us to work closely together as Hall County response agencies,” Rosenlund said.
