Multiple fire departments were involved in an overnight water search on the Hudson River after reports that a person had jumped off the Dunn Memorial Bridge.
The search, which lasted a couple of hours, ended with nothing being found, Albany Fire Chief Joseph Gregory said. The fire department received a call about a person jumping off the bridge around 9:40 p.m. on Thursday.
"No one actually saw a person physically jump off," Gregory said. "It was a routine call."
The Albany Fire Department deployed multiple platoon companies to search the area. The Troy Fire Department, a State Police aviation unit and multiple law enforcement agencies also responded to the scene.
The search lasted through midnight on Friday, Gregory said.
