Fire officials say a fire erupted at a home in Rye Friday morning. They say the fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. Rye, Harrison, Port Chester and Mamaroneck fire departments responded to the scene. Firefighters were seen checking the house for hot spots. News 12 is told several people were taken to the hospital. Firefighters say they believe they were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Officials have not confirmed the extent of their injuries.
