Firefighters battled a house fire in Rochester overnight.
Initial reports were that people could be trapped inside.
The fire happened on Scio Street, near the Inner Loop, just after 2:30 Monday morning.
Firefighters tell us when they got on scene the first floor of this house was up in flames. Crews rushed into the house to make sure nobody was home, but it was vacant. According to investigators, the first floor received extensive damage from the flames.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
