A firefighter was injured in a fire at a home in Tottenville on Thursday morning. About 60 firefighters and 12 units responded at 10:12 a.m. to the “all-hands” fire on the first floor of a two-story home at 283 Loretto St., according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS and the FDNY Twitter feed. A firefighter with a minor injury was transported to Staten Island University Hospital in Prince’s Bay, the FDNY spokesman said. Firefighters were seen checking attached homes for potential victims and damage. The fire was brought under control in less than an hour at 10:54 a.m., the FDNY spokesman said.
