Odessa and Mecklenberg firefighters put out a wood processor that caught on fire Wednesday afternoon on Steam Mill Road in the town of Catherine. After extinguishing the initial blaze, firefighters remained on scene for about an hour checking for hot spots. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
