A grateful Clark Mills Fire Department gave a proper sendoff to their last founding member. Jack Shepherd passed away on Saturday. His funeral was Wednesday morning. Firetrucks lined the street of the firehouse on South Street in tribute to their founding member. Firefighters said Shepherd was always happy to lend a helping hand at the firehouse in any way he could, especially as an electrician. He graciously served his community and fire department for 68 years.
