Horry County Fire Rescue crews battled a residential structure fire on Socastee Blvd. Saturday, according to the department's Twitter account.
Crews were sent to the 3000 block of the road just before 5 p.m., the post states. No one was injured, and the fire is under control.
The three people living there will be displaced, and the American Red Cross of South Carolina offered them assistance. The post mentioned that there could be delays in the area, as some lanes were blocked off to keep those on scene safe. The fire is under investigation, and the Horry County Police Dept. is assisting, according to the post.
