Homeland Park Fire Department said crews responded to a house fire on Don Avenue near South Lyons Street on Tuesday night. Officials said crews responded to the scene after it was reported at 5:08 p.m. According to officials, crews contained the fire in under an hour and no injuries were reported following the incident. Officials believe the fire started on the back porch. However, they are still investigating.
